As VIPR Solutions continues to lead the way in delegated authority and program business, Chief Revenue Officer Tony Russell sat down with InsureTV to discuss the company’s growth, its role in the MGA market, and specialty lines, as well as the innovations VIPR is bringing to the global insurance industry in 2025. VIPR has seen remarkable growth in 2024, with a 28% increase in customer base and 15 new customers added to the fold. Tony Russell shared, “We finished the year strong, and our customer base continues to expand with the growing market demand, especially in the delegated authority business.”
As VIPR continues to support the latest share of Lloyd’s Managing Agents with their technology, the company is processing more than £10 billion in premiums for delegated authority arrangements in the Lloyd’s market.
Automation and Artificial intelligence (AI) are central to VIPR's ongoing success. With the increase in MGAs and specialty lines insurance, automation is critical to scale operations, reduce manual work, and enable real-time, decision-making. As Tony Russell points out, “We are automating the mundane and simplifying the complex, considering real life examples of how AI can unpack bordereau automatically, map data, and offer real-time reporting.”

Challenges faced by the market and how VIPR responds - The delegated authority space faces numerous challenges, including increasing regulatory pressure and the complexities of data management from multiple stakeholders along the entire process. However, VIPR continues to provide solutions that ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency for its long standing customers and growing customer base.
